Who’s behind Earthquake Retrofit LA?

Mickey — the owner of One Hour Plumbing Service, the plumbing company his family has run in Southeast LA since 1953, and Any And All Construction. Three companies, three trades, one way of doing business. The plumbing side built its reputation as the honest second opinion: the company you call after another contractor quotes you something that doesn’t smell right.

Retrofit work needed that reputation more than any trade we know. Seismic marketing in LA leans on fear — countdown language, doom photos, bids padded with work the building doesn’t need. We started Earthquake Retrofit LA to do it the family way instead: state the risk once, factually, then talk about solutions, costs, and code like adults at a kitchen table.

What do we promise on every job?

How do the three companies fit together?
